Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers at The Residence at St. Peters play a vital role in our community. Each volunteer brings joy and interest to the lives of our residents. Our volunteers are more than just volunteers, they are part of our family! If you are interested in sharing your time and talent with us, we would welcome it.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Recreation – our residents love a wide variety of recreation activities including bingo, current events, arts and crafts, board games and more. If you have ideas, we would love to hear them!
  • Cooking – do you love to cook? Our residents love our guest cooks. Bring your own recipe or try out one of ours. Bring friends or your family and break bread with our community.
  • Building & Grounds – Our facility and grounds are the foundation of our community, literally and figuratively, we need help with yearly maintenance, landscaping, planting, painting, and minor repair person services.
  • Fundraising – The Senior Residence is a nonprofit with a mission to provide a home to seniors and persons with special needs. To ensure our community is affordable, fundraising is an important part of our work. Do you like planning and hosting events, meeting new people while also doing good? If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
  • Marketing – Do you have a background or interest in marketing/public relations? Ensuring that people in need are aware of our services is a vital role and we need help spreading the word about our wonderful community.
  • Board Membership – Nonprofits are governed by a board of directors. These individuals work to set the mission and vision while ensuring the organization has the necessary resources to achieve success. Board membership is an important governance role but equally rewarding.

Volunteering at The Residence at St. Peters is not just rewarding but fun! We are seeking people who are willing to make a regular but flexible commitment to our residence. We welcome and appreciate any time commitment you can give. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Gina Principato at 201 225-0707 or gprinciato@residenceatstpeters.org
